CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize NC programs using Siemens NX for complex machining operations on mill-turn machines, 2-axis lathes, and other CNC equipment
• Validate NC programs virtually through machine simulation and perform on-machine program validation and optimization
• Collaborate with design engineers to enhance part designs for manufacturability
• Participate in equipment installation, runoff, and production startup activities
• Develop process-related work instruction documentation

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of NC programming experience using CAM software in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software with a strong understanding of CAD principles and GD&T
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring specific grip strength and reaching capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNC grinding
• Previous hands-on machining experience
• Experience working with aerospace alloys and hardened steel alloys
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software
