CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision aerospace and defense components
• Develop tooling, workholding, machining strategies, and setups for new parts
• Prove out programs, troubleshoot issues, and improve cycle times and quality
• Read engineering drawings, inspect parts, and ensure customer requirements are met
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production teams to solve manufacturing challenges

Requirements

• Experience programming, setting up, or operating CNC mills or lathes
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Familiarity with machining practices, tooling, setups, and precision measuring equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must meet ITAR requirements (US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAM software
• Trade school, apprenticeship, or military training
