CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CNC programs using Edgecam or equivalent CAM software for turning, milling, and multi-axis machining operations
• Conduct time studies and implement process improvements to enhance machining efficiency and productivity
• Manage tooling requirements, recommend purchases, and ensure availability for production
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing route cards, process sheets, and production documentation
• Provide technical support, coaching, and training to CNC operators and machinists
• Support production planning to ensure programs and resources meet production schedules
• Act as backup to the Machine Shop Supervisor when required
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with Quality and HSE standards

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with Edgecam or similar CAM software
• Strong knowledge of CNC Turning, Milling, and multi-axis machining processes
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining tolerances
• Deep understanding of cutting tools, machining parameters, and process optimization techniques
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Glovia ERP systems
