CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and verify CNC machining programs to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Define operational details including machine selection, tooling, feeds, speeds, and cycle times.
• Interpret and edit FANUC G-code programming and analyze blueprints and drawings.
• Figure machine offset positions using edge finders and mathematical equations.
• Prove programs through first-piece approval and utilize software to simulate tools.
• Support machine operators and participate in productivity and corrective action teams.
• Maintain electronic product data, including work instructions and fabrication sketches.
• Uphold all ISO/AS and OSHA safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Mastercam.
• Strong ability to understand, interpret, and edit FANUC G-code.
• Advanced mathematical skills, including algebra and geometric concepts.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• High attention to detail for working with precision equipment.
• Ability to use calibrations, continuity testers, and multimeters.
