CNC Programmer & Machinist

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble parts critical for rapid prototyping of core technology
• Generate CAM packages for manufacturing using CNC Mills and lathes
• Utilize Okuma, Haas, and Fadal machines to produce essential components
• Refine and iterate designs for flight testing prototypes

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Machinist
• Proficiency in Mastercam or similar CAM software
• Extensive experience with 3-axis CNC mills and lathes
• Experience with aerospace tolerances and complex part setups
• U.S. citizenship, national, or lawful permanent resident (ITAR compliance)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis or 7-axis programming
• Experience with Okuma Multus B300 Millturn, Okuma Genos M560V-5AX, or Okuma Genos M660
• Experience training and mentoring other machinists
