CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs and tooling/set-up plans for Haas CNC lathes and mills
• Support routing changes, new products, new processes, and process improvement
• Ensure tooling capability and assist in product startups
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills daily
• Assist Engineering in developing manufacturing process improvements related to fixtures and tooling
• Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce cost, lead time, and defects

Requirements

• 5 years CNC lathe/mill experience
• 3 years Mastercam CAD/CAM experience
• Ability to program using Mastercam CAD/CAM software for lathe and mill
• Ability to set up lathes and mills
• Proficiency using measurement tools (Caliper, Micrometer, Drop Indicator, Optical Comparator)
• Ability to read part drawings with understanding of GD&T
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office products
