CNC Programmer

Responsibilities

• Generate machine programs for manufactured components
• Provide daily support to Metal Fabrication to improve output
• Evaluate and provide best-practice recommendations for machinery and manufacturing procedures
• Recommend development of tooling, fixtures, and jigs
• Develop work instructions, SOPs, and training materials
• Assess component manufacturability from Engineering documents
• Support automation initiatives and Industry 4.0 integration
• Participate in kaizen events, root cause analysis, and CAPA processes

Requirements

• 3+ years in a CNC Programming role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 6+ years equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience with sheet metal fabrication processes, equipment, and tooling
• Proficiency in Press Brakes, Fiber Lasers, Punching, or Automation equipment
• Highly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Amada equipment and software suite
• Lean or Six Sigma certifications
• Experience in training or personnel development
• Experience with IT and software implementation in engineering environments
• Skills in Change Management, Design for Manufacturing, and Process Standardization
