CNC Operator/Programmer

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC machines for trimming and machining composites, epoxy tooling boards, and alloys
• Utilize CAD/CAM software to create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for efficient production
• Safely handle and process composite materials, epoxy tooling boards, and metal alloys according to specifications
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with technical drawings and quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of production, machine settings, and maintenance activities
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, safety, and product quality

Requirements

• Proven experience operating 5-axis CNC machines, preferably in a composites or advanced materials environment
• Strong competency with CAD/CAM systems (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, or similar)
• Experience machining composites, epoxy tooling boards, and alloys
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25kg
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience using Fanuc operating systems
