CNC Operator/Programmer

Responsibilities

• Design, set up, program, and operate CNC equipment to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications
• Interpret technical blueprints and project specifications
• Use CAD/CAM software to design and write programs for CNC machine tools
• Perform machine setup, load materials, and conduct test runs to ensure successful production
• Inspect components using precision measuring tools to ensure conformity to design specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions and programming issues
• Maintain records of CNC programs and machine specifications
• Adhere to all safety rules, procedures, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, TPM)

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
• Ability to read and understand G-code
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Previous experience programming and operating CNC machines (mills, lathes, or grinders)
• Strong understanding of machining fundamentals and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CNC programming, machine tool technology, or a related field
• CNC programming or operations certifications
• Experience with 2, 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines
• Ability to lead or assist in production and quality projects
