CNC Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines in compliance with specifications and standard operating instructions.
• Prepare simple programs using machine controls.
• Maintain high productivity levels through efficient machine operation and proper setups.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for visual defects and conduct stage inspections.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance, including oiling, greasing, and cleaning equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including logbooks for machine errors, program issues, or accidents.
• Ensure proper handover of machines and instructions to the next shift operator.
• Follow all company HSE guidelines and housekeeping procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• ITI qualification as a Machinist or Fitter.
• 1-2 years of experience in CNC machining.
• Proven experience operating 5 Axis CNC machines (DMG machines preferred).
• Basic CNC programming skills and a solid understanding of G-codes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and gauges.
• Knowledge of metal machinability, cutting tools, and parameters such as speed and feed.
