CNC Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery to manufacture parts, including loading feed mechanisms by lifting sheet metal
• Enter programs or perform post-production of existing programs
• Read and interpret blueprint designs to manufacture products to customer specifications
• Make mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts meet quality requirements
• Inspect machinery and products for quality assurance using quality control systems
• Perform daily maintenance on CNC machines and replace/sharpen tooling as needed
• Maintain tooling inventory for current and future production
• Review work orders and programs for accuracy concerning designs and materials

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a CNC Operator or Machinist
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily
• Ability to pass a background check
• Participation in drug and alcohol programs for safety-sensitive positions

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in Machine Technology, Precision Machining, or CNC Operations
• Experience working with Shear and Brake Press
• Laser and punch experience
