CNC Operative

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-standard components from engineering drawings in accordance with customer specifications.
• Work within company Quality procedures to ensure all components meet required standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings to produce components within estimated production times.
• Machine high-grade materials, such as Inconel 718.
• Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in CNC Machining.
• Competency in setting and programming Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres.
• Experience working with medium to heavy components.
• Experience operating CNC Horizontal/Vertical Borers, Machining Centres, or Mill Turns.
• Strong working knowledge of tooling applications, tool feed, and speeds to achieve efficient cycle times.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
