CNC Operative

Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-standard engineering components from technical drawings to satisfy customer requirements.
• Set and program Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres to produce components within estimated production times.
• Operate CNC Horizontal/Vertical Borers, Machining Centres, or Mill Turns.
• Machine high-grade materials, such as Inconel 718, while adhering to company quality procedures.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Apply knowledge of tooling applications, tool feeds, and speeds to achieve efficient cycle times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in CNC Machining.
• Proven experience working with medium to heavy components.
• Competency in setting and programming Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres.
• Experience operating CNC Horizontal/Vertical Borers or Mill Turns.
• Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings to customer specifications.
• Working knowledge of tooling applications and machine tool capabilities.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
