CNC Mill Operator

Responsibilities

• Machine finish flexible dies to customer specifications using CNC milling machines
• Set up and indicate flexible dies for processing
• Input necessary information into machine controls to successfully process dies
• Calculate machine feeds, speeds, and offsets
• Measure products using precision equipment to maintain tight tolerances (minimum +/- .0001)
• Compare manufacturing sheet specifications against drawing viewer instructions
• Maintain department production goals, quality standards, and work logs
• Perform machine calibrations and communicate design or machine issues to supervisors
• Follow all safe operating procedures and wear required PPE

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in simple mathematics
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and use precision measuring equipment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
• Ability to stand for extended periods (2-hour increments) and perform physical tasks such as bending and twisting
