CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various CNC and manual machines, specifically mills, to manufacture jet engine components.
• Machine and test parts according to engineering standards, customer specifications, and blueprint requirements.
• Perform inspections and testing to ensure parts are free of burrs, damaged surfaces, or irregularities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reliable records of parts and manufacturing processes.
• Provide input on selecting, installing, and adjusting cutting tools to ensure consistency with material types.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations within the manufacturing cell.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of machining experience.
• Ability to read and correctly interpret blueprints, planning, and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong knowledge of machining and testing-related mathematical concepts.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull weights of up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required.
