CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various CNC and manual machines to manufacture jet engine components
• Machine and test parts according to strict engineering and customer specifications
• Perform inspections and testing to ensure parts meet blueprint tolerances and are free of defects
• Maintain accurate documentation and part identification per planning specifications
• Provide input on selecting and adjusting cutting tools to ensure consistency with material types
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations within the manufacturing cell

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of machining experience
• Ability to read and correctly interpret blueprints, planning, and manufacturing specifications
• Mathematical proficiency related to machining and testing concepts
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull weights of up to 60 lbs
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required
