About the role

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate various CNC and manual machines to manufacture jet engine components
  • Machine and test parts according to strict engineering and customer specifications
  • Perform inspections and testing to ensure parts meet blueprint tolerances and standards
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges, and tool marks from finished parts
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reliable records of all manufacturing activities
  • Provide input on selecting and adjusting cutting tools to ensure consistency with material types
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cellular manufacturing work area

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of machining experience
  • Ability to read and correctly interpret blueprints and manufacturing specifications
  • Strong knowledge of machining and testing-related mathematical concepts
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist and push/pull weights of up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required
