CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various CNC and manual machines within the Turbine Disk & Blade department
• Machine and test parts according to engineering standards, customer specifications, and blueprints
• Perform inspections and testing to ensure parts meet manufacturing standards and are free of burrs or damage
• Maintain accurate documentation and part identification per planning specifications
• Provide input on selecting, installing, and adjusting cutting tools to ensure consistency with material types
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Clean and organize the cellular manufacturing work area and ensure continuous material flow
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of machining experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, planning, and manufacturing specifications
• Mathematical proficiency related to machining and testing concepts
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist
• Ability to push or pull weights of up to 60 lbs
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if required
