CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC Mills/Lathes
• Read and interpret setup sheets and tool lists
• Check parts using optical comparator, caliper, and micrometers
• Understand speeds and feeds
• Communicate quality issues to machine shop leadership
• Perform first article inspections and deburr parts
• Read and interpret aerospace drawings
• Perform basic machine maintenance including cleaning chips and fluids
• Work effectively as a team and manage shift handovers

Requirements

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years working with HAAS and Fanuc controls
• Working knowledge of GD&T and G code
• Experience with Additive Manufactured Parts
• Knowledge of Multi-axis Mill, Lathe, Mill-Turn, and Turn-Mill
• Ability to run up to 2 machines simultaneously
• High school diploma or equivalent
• College or Trade school certificate
