CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Machine high-stakes, first run aerospace parts from models and drawings
• Interpret G-code and modify as needed
• Troubleshoot issues and work independently
• Deburr and finish parts to a high standard
• Inspect completed parts and report as-built dimensions
• Source cutting tooling, work holding, and equipment
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of equipment
• Contribute to team growth and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in CNC milling and lathe machine setup and operation
• Exposure to CNC machine programming
• Experience selecting cutting tooling and designing work tooling
• Ability to interpret GD&T
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work overtime or occasional weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 5-axis machining experience
