About the role
Responsibilities
- Machine high-stakes, first run aerospace parts from models and drawings
- Interpret G-code and modify as needed
- Troubleshoot issues and work independently
- Deburr and finish parts to a high standard
- Inspect completed parts and report as-built dimensions
- Source cutting tooling, work holding, and equipment
- Coordinate installation and commissioning of equipment
- Contribute to team growth and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in CNC milling and lathe machine setup and operation
- Exposure to CNC machine programming
- Experience selecting cutting tooling and designing work tooling
- Ability to interpret GD&T
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work overtime or occasional weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-axis machining experience
