Responsibilities

• Perform CNC operations including machine set-up, fixturing, tool building, and running for turning and 3 and 5 axis vertical and horizontal milling
• Machine components to prescribed tolerances based on drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and safety procedures
• Follow all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms
• Follow process routing documents and perform inspections, recording results where required
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean work area

Requirements

• Experience in precision CNC machining of various materials (metals, alloys, plastics, composites, etc.)
• Proficiency in 3-axis milling (3+2 required)
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOMs, and work instructions
• Mathematical understanding of algebra, geometry, decimals, fractions, and measurements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 4-axis horizontal and 5-axis milling
• Mill-turn experience
• Apprenticeship or associate’s degree
