CNC Machinist & Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and break down CNC machining jobs across vertical mills, 5-axis mills, turning centers, and mill-turn machines
• Perform first-piece validation and establish datums, work offsets, and tooling
• Monitor machine performance and part quality using hand metrology tools like calipers and micrometers
• Troubleshoot issues related to tooling, workholding, and material behavior
• Complete production documentation and time tracking in ProShop ERP
• Maintain an organized workspace following 5S standards and perform routine machine maintenance
• Adhere to AS9100, ISO9001, and ITAR safety and quality protocols

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 4+ years of CNC machine operation experience, or an Associate's degree in manufacturing/machining with 2+ years of experience
• Hands-on experience with CNC mills, lathes, or mill-turn equipment
• Ability to read technical setup documentation, prints, and GD&T callouts
• Proficiency with hand metrology instruments
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must meet ITAR requirements (US Citizen, Lawful Permanent Resident, or protected individual)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Haas, Okuma, or Heidenhain controls
• Experience with ProShop ERP or similar production management systems
