About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture components
- Manufacture parts according to technical drawings and engineering specifications
- Perform self-inspection of work to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct preventative and general maintenance checks on machinery
- Adhere to all company Quality procedures and HSE legislations
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and follow the 5S program
Requirements
- Engineering Apprenticeship or similar technical training/qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating CNC machines
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings
- Ability to edit and prove out CNC programs
- Proficiency with measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers
- Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within the oil and gas industry
- Experience working with Fanuc systems
