About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Mill-turn machines to manufacture components
- Manufacture parts according to technical engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform self-inspection of work to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct preventative and general maintenance checks on machinery
- Adhere to all company Quality procedures and HSE legislations
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping following the 5S program
Requirements
- Engineering Apprenticeship or similar qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating CNC machines
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings
- Ability to edit and prove out CNC programs
- Proficiency with measuring equipment including micrometers and verniers
- Sound knowledge of geometrical tolerances
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience within the oil and gas industry or heavy engineering
- Strong knowledge of both milling and turning processes
- Experience with Fanuc or Mazatrol systems
