CNC Machinist II

Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC lathes, mills, and wire EDM machines
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify designs and implement G-code
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate machining equipment
• Communicate with engineering teams to translate requirements into machining solutions
• Optimize machining processes and troubleshoot manufacturing challenges
• Develop and enforce standardized workflows and documentation

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on machining experience with CNC lathes, mills, or EDM machines
• Experience in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration
• Experience using inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-code programming
• Understanding of machining best practices for aerospace materials
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards
