CNC Machinist I

Responsibilities

• Safely set up and run CNC mills and/or lathes using existing programs
• Load/unload parts, fixtures, tooling, and material
• Perform basic in-process inspections using gauges, hand tools, and calipers
• Clear chips, maintain work area cleanliness, and follow PPE rules
• Adhere to published cycle times, setup sheets, and standard work
• Report tool wear, machine faults, and quality concerns
• Complete basic documentation and part tracking

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0–2 years of machining experience
• Ability to read basic prints and tolerate precision work
• Familiarity with shop safety and basic tooling

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical training or apprenticeship
