CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, program readouts, and technical directives to determine materials and cutting tools.
• Complete machine setups and follow detailed instructions regarding machine operations, feeds, speeds, and alignment.
• Align parts in the machine according to set methods and reference points while maintaining a clean workspace.
• Monitor machine operations to recognize defective tooling, improper coolant flow, or dimensional deviations.
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, height and depth gages, and indicators to maintain critical dimensions and tolerances.

Requirements

• Previous CNC machine operation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of trade mathematics.
• Ability to learn specific computer software and systems.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule (Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM).
