CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and machine parts using CNC mills and EDM according to technical drawings
• Create and edit CAM programs for machining processes
• Perform independent quality control on all milled and manufactured components
• Manage the electrode warehouse and register dimensional changes in drawings
• Execute or cooperate on machine maintenance work according to specifications
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility

Requirements

• Proficiency with manual machining tools including manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, and hole poppers
• Strong programming skills and knowledge in SolidWorks and Mastercam
• Ability to operate machines independently and ensure necessary quality and quantity standards
• Experience with CAM programming

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Injection Molds
• Experience working with Sodick and Hurco machinery
