CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Machine replacement and new components to support critical production equipment used in card and print operations
• Set up and operate CNC lathes, including Haas and Fanuc-controlled equipment
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams to machine parts to exact specifications
• Identify required tooling, set gauges, and complete machine setups based on tolerance requirements
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct mechanical equipment issues and support repairs across production sub-assemblies
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain accurate records for tools, test equipment, and inventory
• Assist with equipment builds, including mechanical assembly, wiring, and testing

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in CNC machining, including setup and operation of CNC lathes
• 3+ years of experience reading blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams
• 3+ years of experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment and supporting preventive maintenance
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in precision machining or a related field
• Experience using Haas G-code controls
• Experience machining parts for high-speed manufacturing or print and card production equipment
• Experience supporting fixture design or custom equipment builds
