CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and alter CNC mills and lathes to perform drilling, tapping, milling, and boring operations
• Evaluate tool wear, make offsets, and load/unload parts in the machine
• Check product specifications, handle nonconforming products, and complete production documentation
• Perform secondary operations such as counterboring, drilling, and sub-assemblies
• Maintain an organized work area following 5S+1 and LEAN principles
• Adhere to all safety programs, use required PPE, and comply with ISO management systems

Requirements

• High School Graduate (Trade school experience is a plus)
• Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operating experience
• Proficiency in shop math, including compound angles and trigonometry
• Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets
• Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls, including feeds, speeds, G codes, and M codes

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Haas and Okuma equipment
• CNC programming experience
