CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Interpret dimensioned part drawings to determine machine tools, workholding, and cutting tools
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills
• Perform complete machining operations from setup through production
• Inspect in-process and finished parts using precision measuring equipment
• Identify manufacturing bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
• Monitor machine performance and identify maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist
• Expertise operating both CNC lathes and mills
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Working knowledge of G-code and M-code
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical activities
• Comfortable using computers for production data
