CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to determine precise dimensions and tolerance requirements
• Configure and operate various machine shop equipment to fabricate precision components
• Optimize machining workflows by selecting effective methods and appropriate cutting tools
• Calibrate machining parameters, including speeds, feeds, and depth of cut, to maximize tool life and finish quality
• Execute rigorous dimensional and visual inspections using precision measuring tools
• Document production data and quality metrics accurately into the company database
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum of 1-year hands-on experience in a professional machine shop
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods in a machine shop environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification or vocational training in Machining Technology
• Proven experience with Surface Grinding and O.D. Grinding
