Responsibilities

• Safely load and operate vertical and horizontal machining centers (3, 4, and 5 axis machines)
• Perform daily maintenance on equipment and clean work area after each shift
• Perform manual deburring operations as needed
• Follow Process Routing Documents and perform inspections, legibly recording results
• Complete reports and other associated paperwork
• Communicate with management, supervisors, and quality personnel to resolve machining or quality issues
• Follow all applicable Quality Management System procedures and work instructions
• Safeguard company, customer, and supplier property

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience with Vertical/Horizontal CNC Milling
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience reading blueprints
• Proficiency using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers
• Proficiency with machining operations including drilling, milling, and tapping
• Familiarity with vertical and horizontal machines
• Demonstrated inspection competence
• Basic mathematical skills
• Mechanical and technical capacity
• Fluency in written and spoken English
