About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes to produce precision parts per specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations and tolerances
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and part inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure part quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines as needed
Requirements
- 2–5 years of CNC machining experience
- Proficiency with HAAS controls (mills and/or lathes)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with G-code programming and editing
- Technical training or certification in machining
