CNC Machinist, 2nd Class

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment, including managing tool offsets and compensations
• Proof CNC code provided by programmers and work with them to optimize processes
• Perform quality inspections on own work using various inspection equipment
• Calculate and adjust feeds and speeds of material cutting as required
• Read blueprints and CNC code to ensure precision and accuracy
• Sharpen cutting and grind form tools as required within the department
• Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards while ensuring accurate documentation

Requirements

• US citizenship is required
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 5 years of manufacturing or related experience
• Strong shop mathematics and trigonometry skills
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and CNC code reading
