CNC Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, program, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on CNC machines
• Machine material to specification from job orders to minimize production delays
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure adherence to quality standards
• Troubleshoot operational issues by adjusting machine offsets, speeds, and feeds
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area following 5S Standards
• Implement Lean and Quality Management systems
• Follow all required safety and work procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing setting
• Proficiency in CNC machine programming and reading blueprints/technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Ability to operate an overhead crane and a sit-down forklift
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis
• Ability to stand for up to twelve hours per day
• Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills
