CNC Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and turning
• Translate engineering drawings and requirements into precise production dimensions
• Oversee machine execution and make necessary adjustments to optimize results
• Load and unload raw materials and equipment
• Maintain detailed production and quality logs, including equipment and procedure records
• Perform daily maintenance, coolant monitoring, and equipment cleaning
• Inspect finished products and perform in-process measurements to ensure quality standards
• Conduct general machine troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Manage cutting tool setup using heat shrink fits and dynamic tool balancers
• Monitor scrap levels and complete required SFC data entry and documentation

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Milling machine operator (Milling and Turning)
• Proven experience translating mechanical documents and engineering drawings
• Trade School Accreditation, High School diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Ability to maintain housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Engineering
