CNC Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Knife Cutter and Waterjet machines
• Follow and interpret technical instructions, procedures, and drawings accurately
• Verify product quality at required intervals using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices
• Inspect operation results against predetermined tolerances to ensure accuracy
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain on-time production and delivery
• Recommend process improvements to reduce discrepancies
• Create or modify drawings using CAD/CAM software as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience as a Machine or Waterjet Operator
• Strong mathematical skills, including converting fractions to decimals and understanding unit conversions
• Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to maintain or repair equipment
• Ability to operate a fork-truck

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CNC, CAD, and CAM software
