About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machining equipment following production schedules
- Program and machine new fixtures, prototype parts, and new jobs
- Accurately label, stamp, and move finished parts to designated areas
- Maintain machine health by monitoring coolant, refractometer readings, and oil reservoirs
- Maintain a clean workstation adhering to 5S standards
- Train new employees on equipment and processes
Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- 1-10 years of relevant CNC machining experience (depending on level)
- Ability to read blueprints and perform machine programming
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts on the 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00am)
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyworker Certification
- Industry-recognized machining certifications
- Experience with CMM and intermediate maintenance
