CNC Machine Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, including mills and lathes
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Conduct machine alignment, leveling, and geometric accuracy checks using precision measuring tools
• Maintain and calibrate spindles, ball screws, linear guides, and other critical machine components
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and maintenance manuals
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine performance
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and update schedules
• Support the installation and commissioning of new CNC machines

Requirements

• 5+ years of CNC machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong background in machine alignment, leveling, and geometric calibration
• Practical machining knowledge and ability to run CNC equipment for testing purposes
• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., dial indicators, laser alignment systems)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar control systems
