CNC Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily team performance and production schedules
• Oversee fabrication team tasks to ensure quality and safety compliance
• Train and coach team members on project tasks and equipment troubleshooting
• Perform tool setups and changeovers to minimize downtime
• Communicate production constraints and material shortages to the Production Manager
• Continuously improve manufacturing processes to ensure zero defects and injuries

Requirements

• Prior management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Expert metal manufacturing experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings and CNC programs
• Deep understanding of CNC machine tools
• D1.1 structural certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours daily
• Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol program

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software, specifically Infor Visual
• Working knowledge of Nema Standards and UL Listings
• Electro-Mechanical experience
• ISO 9001:2015 experience
