CNC Lathe Operator

Responsibilities

• Configure and program the computer controlling the CNC machinery
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations and conduct pre-operation tests
• Monitor machines during product assembly to ensure quality standards
• Perform daily maintenance and inspect machinery at the end of each shift
• Adhere to all safety protocols and manage materials in compliance with guidelines

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Proficient mathematical skills for accurate dimension and figure input
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with specialized CNC software
• Understanding of G & M codes and conversational programming knowledge
• Effective problem-solving skills to identify and resolve manufacturing issues
