CNC Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install new or modified CNC equipment at customer facilities and ensure full functionality
• Analyze, inspect, and troubleshoot technical problems to determine necessary repairs or replacements
• Provide on-site technical assistance and coordinate with factory support to expedite repairs
• Complete accurate service reports reflecting all work performed
• Conduct training for customers and team members on safe equipment operation
• Act as a communication link between the customer and the company to ensure high-quality service

Requirements

• Experience with maintenance on CNC machines
• Valid driver's license
• High mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the week, including overnight stays
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers
• Ability to manage paperwork and track expenses related to maintenance
