CNC Coolant Filling Technician

Responsibilities

• Accurately mix, distribute, and replenish coolants, cutting fluids, and lubricants for CNC machines
• Perform daily chemical tests using refractometers and pH meters to monitor concentration and alkalinity
• Execute routine cleaning of machine sumps and maintain coolant recycling and filtration equipment
• Navigate and operate safely within heavy industrial environments and PWHT plant operations
• Identify and resolve fluid-related issues such as foaming, odors, or rust
• Track chemical inventory and manage stock levels to prevent shortages
• Adhere to all HSE protocols regarding the handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Technical Diploma, or equivalent in mechanical maintenance or industrial chemistry
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machine maintenance and coolant management
• Mandatory experience working in or around PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment) plants
• Proven work history in heavy manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or large-scale industrial plants
• Proficiency with fluid testing equipment like refractometers and titration kits
• Strong understanding of coolant chemistry and bacterial control
• Solid knowledge of industrial safety standards and chemical handling procedures
