Responsibilities

• Assist with material preparation, rigging, measuring, and loading onto CNC machines
• Help with machine setup including tool installation and workpiece alignment
• Monitor machining processes and assist with troubleshooting
• Perform cutting tool maintenance such as pitch cleaning and rotating knives
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to mitigate dust hazards
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Participate in machine training programs to gain knowledge of programming and operations

Requirements

• Strong interest in CNC machining and manufacturing processes
• Ability to work with basic hand tools and machinery safely
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn technical skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around a fabrication shop
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs regularly

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous exposure to CNC machinery or manufacturing environments
• Basic understanding of CAD/CAM software
• Willingness to pursue formal training or certification in CNC machining
