CNC Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

• Translate complex engineering designs into manufacturable parts using high-speed CNCs and manual machines
• Develop and prove out CNC programs and fixturing solutions for high-precision results
• Optimize cycle time, surface finish, and tool life
• Apply multi-axis machining expertise to handle complex geometries
• Solve real-time machining challenges on the shop floor
• Integrate latest machines, cutters, and CAM techniques
• Lead improvements in GD&T understanding

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline
• Proven ability to lead technical projects in a manufacturing environment
• Deep expertise in high-precision machining within aerospace or similar industries
• Ability to develop innovative fixturing solutions
• Strong work ethic and collaborative skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy, independent environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record of applying multi-axis machining expertise to challenging designs
• Experience balancing cycle time, surface finish, and tool life
• Hands-on problem-solving experience on the shop floor
