About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Document care provided and report changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
- Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care
- Maintain a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment for all residents
Requirements
- Valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license is required
- Ability to work full-time afternoon shifts (2p-10p)
- Commitment to working every other weekend and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community
- Previous experience working with individuals living with dementia
