CNA

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned residents, including hygiene assistance, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, and respirations) and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor
• Assist residents with mobility, including lifting, turning, positioning, and transporting them in wheelchairs or lifts
• Maintain accurate documentation on flow sheets, charts, and notes using authorized abbreviations
• Assist with meal service, including preparing residents for meals and monitoring food/fluid intake
• Perform specialized care such as catheter care, perineal care, and range of motion exercises as instructed
• Ensure resident safety by responding to call lights promptly and maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment

Requirements

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• Proven experience in direct resident care
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 lbs
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to monitor vital signs and perform basic medical documentation
