CNA Hospice

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents while maintaining confidentiality and using the EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Function effectively in diverse home environments regardless of the client's background or financial condition

Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Texas DHS Nurse Aide Registry status with no findings of client abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property
• Minimum of one year of direct client care experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or agency setting (or documented completion of a competency evaluation program within the last 24 months)
• Must not be listed on the Employee Misconduct Registry

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or the ability to complete certification within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of specific home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and work independently
