C.N.A. - Hospice Aide

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents while maintaining confidentiality and using EVV systems
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Function effectively in diverse home environments regardless of the client's background or financial condition

Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Successful completion of 75 hours of training (including 16 hours of clinical training) as per Tennessee state requirements
• Ability to provide basic services, including nutritional needs, ambulation, and essential household services

Preferred Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of experience in home care
• Ability to work flexible hours and work independently
